Hello, At our office we have cnc equipment that apparently accepts only two types of file formats, NC1 & DSTV. I would like to know if any of the standard file formats that are normally associated with Inventor (like SAT, IGES, STEP, etc, etc.) can be considered to be an equivalent to either of these?

If so which one(s) and if not, does anyone know of a way or program that can convert 'standard' Inventor file formats into either of these more 'exotic' file types? Apparently X-steel can export to these file type, but we don't use X-steel. Ps yes we are a structural steel fabricator. Thanks for all of your replies.

This code needs to be generated using a CNC programming tool (some of these like MasterCAM, EdgeCAM, etc) can get geometry directly from an Inventor file but it still needs to be post-processed to generate the code specific to the machine controller.
